Side Rails can be very dangerous, especially when used with people that are independently mobile and who are unable to release them. However height adjustable beds are essential where safe care is administered.

The A bed is designed so that the bed frame is just 14cm from the floor whilst the resident is unattended & can be raised to a low working height of 42cm when care is administered. It is fully profiling, so very comfortable and reduces the need for repositioning due to pillow slip.
